Getting Started

Welcome to ClanCommander! Follow these steps to get the bot up and running in your Discord server:

1. Add ClanCommander to your server

Click the "Add to Discord" button at the top of this page to invite ClanCommander to your server. You'll need to have the "Manage Server" permission.

2. Set up permissions

ClanCommander requires certain permissions to function properly. When adding the bot, make sure it has the following permissions:

  • Read/Send Messages
  • Manage Messages
  • Manage Roles (for recruitment system)
  • Manage Nicknames (for clan tag insertion)
  • Create Voice Channels (for fight organizer)
  • View Channels
  • Embed Links

3. Initial Configuration

Use the following command to start the initial setup process:

/setup

This interactive setup will guide you through configuring the basic settings for your server.

Basic Commands

ClanCommander uses slash commands for all interactions. Here are the most common commands you'll use:

/help - Shows the help menu with all available commands
/settings - Opens the server settings panel
/ping - Checks if the bot is responsive

Fight Organizer

The Fight Organizer is one of ClanCommander's most powerful features. Here's how to use it:

Creating a Fight/War

/fight create - Starts the fight creation wizard

You'll be prompted to enter:

  • Title of the fight/war
  • Description
  • Date and time
  • Number of teams
  • Squads per team
  • Users per squad
  • Voice channel creation timing (15, 30, or 60 minutes before)

Managing Fight Participation

/fight join [fight_id] - Join a fight
/fight leave [fight_id] - Leave a fight
/fight list - See upcoming fights

Fight Administration

/fight edit [fight_id] - Edit fight details
/fight cancel [fight_id] - Cancel a fight
/fight finish [fight_id] [result] - End a fight and record results

Fight Reporting

/fight history - View past fights and results
/fight stats [@user] - View participation statistics for a user
